A real estate company holding assets on behalf of members of the Abu Dhabi royal family had its debut deal torpedoed at the eleventh hour on Wednesday after issues emerged around one of its ratings. The PRIVATE DEPARTMENT OF SKEIKH MOHAMED BIN KHALID AL NAHYAN, which was incorporated in 1998 and is fully owned by 11 members of the ruling family, walked away from a US$350m five-year sukuk offering.
