Agribusiness company AMACCI EXPORTACAO E IMPORTACAO has raised a US$100m six-year loan for refinancing and working capital. SMBC was the arranger, while BNP Paribas joined as lender. Nippon Export and Investment Insurance is providing insurance coverage. The new loan will partially refinance a US$200m six-year loan which was completed in August 2014, also covered by Nexi. Under the loan agreement, Amaggi must export a certain amount of grain to Japan, which will help ensure the country's food supply security.
