Matthew Cooke is set to join SANTANDER as head of securitisation, based in London. Cooke has just left Lloyds after nine years there, where he was global head of securitised products. It is a blow for the Lloyds securitisation business, one of the few where the bank is a clear market leader. Cooke previously worked at Bank of America, where he headed European securitised products origination and held a senior securitisation role, covering the Asia-Pacific region.
