Europe's first SPAC of 2021 gets €250m

Shares in ESG CORE INVESTMENTS closed a fraction up on their Euronext Amsterdam debut on Friday, after the deal was covered in 30 minutes on Wednesday and went on to raise the maximum €250m. Shares closed Friday at €10.064, up just 0.6% on IPO pricing of €10, although they hit a high of €11 during the day. Phones were said to be ringing off the hook during bookbuilding last week for the SPAC, which is Europe's first of 2021 and the first in the region focused on ESG.
