JP MORCAN has hired Charlie Jacobs, a prominent M&A lawyer in London and chairman of law firm Linklaters, as co-head of its UK investment banking business, to replace Ed Byers, who is moving to a pure client-facing role. Jacobs will be co-head alongside David Lomer, according to a memo to staff seen by IFR.
