Jarden partnership with CS ends

Kiwi start-up boutique JARDEN has ended its strategic alliance with CREDIT SUISSE, bringing to a close a 30-year partnership between the two firms. Jarden and Credit Suisse agreed to sever ties only a few months after Jarden announced it was expanding into Australia, prising away some of the country's top bankers in the process. Jarden, which was bought out by the firm's management from Credit Suisse in 2002, previously had an agreement with Credit Suisse whereby it would cut the Swiss lender in on deals in New Zealand by Australian issuers and vice versa.
