CREDIT SUISSE, BARCLAYS and BNP PARIBAS as all reported increases in bond trading revenues in the second quarter to underpin decent investment bank results and ease concerns European banks are getting left behind by US rivals. Credit Suisse said fixed income sales and trading revenues in its global markets division, which excludes Asia, were SFr899m in the April-June quarter, up 12% from a year earlier.
