KFW spotted a window to reopen the US dollar market with a three-year Global benchmark, the first SSA trade in the currency for three weeks. Bankers said the German agency took advantage of improved funding conditions for euro-based issuers: the three-year basis swap had widened from -18.5bp at the beginning of the previous week to -21bp last Wednesday, Eikon data showed.
