UK challenger bank aldermore reopened the UK market on Thursday, zipping ahead of the expected competition with its oak no.3 RMBS. "We were getting advice from the banks that the uncertainty earlier in the year about new securitisation and STS regulations meant a lot of issuers would be holding back on their issuance plans," said Kevin McShane, head of secured funding at Aldermore.
