Gresham Private Equity has raised A$90.2m (US$60.5m) from a block in perenti global. It sold 48m shares at AS1.88 each, flat to the August 29 pre-deal close. Perenti is a Perth-based mining contractor formerly known as Ausdrill. Following the transaction, Gresham, previously Perenti's second largest shareholder, no longer has an interest in the company. Perenti Global shares closed up 6.1% at AS1.995 last Friday. The stock is up 68%in the year to-date. The company, which acquired underground mining contractor Barminco last year, posted strong annual results on Thursday.
