Fifth Astrea ABS to include retail tranche

Temasek Holdings is preparing the fifth securitisation backed by private equity funds under its Astrea programme. The US$600m-equivalent astrea v transaction includes a tranche reserved for Singapore retail investors, who have been enthusiastic supporters of the previous Astrea offering. A Class A-1 tranche of S$315m (US$228m) is expected to be rated A+/A (S&P/Fitch), a Class A-2 US$230m tranche is expected to be rated A by Fitch, and a Class B US$140m tranche is expected to be rated BBB by Fitch.
