Hutchison Chi-Med goes home

New York and London-listed HUTCHISON CHINA MEDITECH has filed for a Hong Kong listing, hoping to benefit from improved sentiment towards biotech stocks in the city after last year's shaky start. The share sale is expected to raise about US$500m, according to people familiar with the situation. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs are the joint sponsors. The Hong Kong-headquartered company develops and commercialises targeted therapies and immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. Hong Kong-listed CK Hutchison currently owns a 60.2% stake in the company.
