Designing, fabricating and commissioning plants for the conversion of polymers into fibers and yarns for use in medical products is no easy task. Fibre Extrusion Technology (FET) understands what makes a good fiber for medical device applications and has the track record to support this. Successful installations for monofilament, multifil-ament and fibers make possible the production of regulated medical devices such as resorbable sutures, low adherence burns dressings, artificial ligaments and hernia repair implants.
