Australia's Prime Minister Outlines Plans For National Emissions Trading Task Force

Sydney—Australian Prime Minister John Howard Dec. 10 unveiled the terms of reference for an industry-government advisory task force on greenhouse gas emissions trading.rnThe task force will report to the prime minister by the end of May "on the nature and design of a workable global emissions trading system in which Australia would be able to participate."
