Denmark, Israel Global Leaders in Promoting Clean Technology, WWF International Says

Denmark leads the world in fostering innovation in, and marketing of, clean technologies, environmental group WWF International said in a report Feb. 27. In a survey of 38 countries, WWF said Denmark topped its innovation index based on its "unique combination of a supportive environment for innovative cleantech start-ups, evidence of those start-ups emerging, as well as a strong track-record of companies commercializing their cleantech innovations and scaling them up to widespread market adoption."
