IEA: $3.6 Trillion Investment in Sequestration Needed to Prevent Catastrophic Warming

Some $3.6 trillion in investments is needed to implement carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology by midcentury on a scale adequate to contribute to fending off catastrophic climate change, the International Energy Agency said July 2.
