P2i Ltd, the UK-based developer of liquid-repellent nano-coating technology, has raised £4.1 million ($6.7 million) from new and existing shareholders, to accelerate its international growth.rnP2i was established in 2004 to commercialise liquid-repellent treatments developed by the UK's Ministry of Defence. Its ion-mask technology is used to treat performance textiles such as hiking and military boots. New investors Swarraton Partners and Naxos Capital Partners provided most of the new funds, with existing shareholder Unilever Ventures also participating in the round.
