Construction output in Argentina grew +10.5% in the first half of the year, compared to the same period in 2010, according to a report from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), a business school. The report said the trend was a continuation of growth which began in 2010. Among key indicators were cement sales +15.6% in the first half of the year. However, the number of homes for sale fell -21% in the first half of the year and the supply of rental properties was down -28.9%. It said this may have been due to a shortage of land and high property prices.
