Set sold

Italcementi has sold its Turkish business, Set Group, to Limak Group for € 290 million (US$ 400 million). Set Group owns three cement plants, a grinding plant and 13 ready-mixed concrete facilities. The transaction does not include Afyon Cimento, a listed Turkish company in which Italcementi holds a majority stake, but Italcementi said it might in future consider "the best industrial or financial alternatives" for this asset.
