Two workers died when a crane collapsed on the construction of the Arena Corinthians stadium, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Liebherr lattice boom crawler crane collapsed while installing a prefabricated steel section of the roof around lunch time on Wednesday 27 November. The cause of the accident was being investigated as z'Cwent to press. The incident may delay delivery of the completed stadium scheduled for 31 December. Arena Corinthians is due to host the opening match and five further games in the 2014 football World Cup.
