As reported in this month's News and Equipment pages, last month's Bauma China exhibition saw 191,000 visitors attend and 3,104 exhibitors take part - both records. As well as new machines - we had news from Liebherr, Liugong, Sandvik, SDLG, Terex, XCMG and Yongmao, among many others - there were also interesting developments in the components sector. China is building up to a new engine emission law in 2016 equivalent to EU Stage ⅢA/US Tier 3. Among the companies unveiling new products ahead of this regulatory change were Cummins and Perkins.
