Shell Global Solutions has developed a range of heavy-duty diesel engine oils that are designed to react and adapt to challenging operating conditions. The Shell Rimula engine oils have been tested extensively in what Hans Wildeboer, product application specialist at Shell Global Solutions, called "real-world scenarios, working with equipment manufacturers to meet and exceed their demands". The latest formulas, Shell Rimula R5 LE, Shell Rimula R4 X and Shell Rimula R4 L, offer long oil drain intervals, which helps to cut back on the time and cost associated with oil changes, and keeps equipment available for longer.
