IVORY COAST Besix has been awarded a contract for the construction of the new 282 metre-tall F Tower in the Ivory Coast. When completed it will reportedly be Africa's tallest tower.While the value of the contract was not disclosed, Belgium-based Besix said it will both manage the project in its entirety and carry out the structural works. Designed by PFO Africa, the skyscraper will comprise 64 floors of office space and, externally, the building has been designed to reflect the symmetry of African tribal masks.CHINA Haulotte Shanghai has opened a new customer support centre in Wuhan, central China. The new facility will allow Haulotte's China subsidiary to provide greater after sales services to local customers.
