Iconic tower for new Egyptian city

An aerial view of roads and the construction site of The Iconic Tower skyscraper, which is being built by China State Construction Engineering Corp (CSCEC) in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) east of Cairo. The tower will have a final height of 385m, making it the tallest building in Egypt when it has been constructed. It will be one of 20 towers and skyscrapers being built as part of the Central Business District project in the new capital city. The government's plan to build a new capital approximately 700km2 in size 45km to the east of Cairo has an estimated cost of around US$50 billion.
