HDTV today: there's good news and bad news

Luxembourg's 6-month presidency of Europe ended on 30 June, and they used the occasion for a ministerial-level meeting in the country looking at high-definition TV. And there was lots of good HDTV news from the 400 or so VIP delegates present. Top of the list was an ebullient presentation from Premiere's Dr Georg Kofler, chairman and CEO of the German pay-TV operation.
