For many years now, researchers and engineers working on launch vehicles and missiles have been exploring the possibility of reducing the drag force responsible for bringing down the efficiency level of high speed vehicles moving through the atmosphere with a substantial extent. In an exclusive interview to Show Daily, Prof.K.PJ.Reddy in Bangalore pointed out that a large portion of the thrust generated by a high speed vehicle in the form of either a launch vehicle or a missile is nullified by the exertion of the atmospheric drag.
