Advanced Machining Excellence Cell (AMEC) inaugurated at IIT Bombay

As a step towards realising the vision of the 'Make in India' initiative, and in accordance with its goal of creating a world-class aerospace manufacturing ecosystem in India, NCAIR along with DMG Mori India launched its Advanced Machining Excellence Cell (AMEC) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) today. Dr. Greg Hyslop, Vice President and General Manager of Boeing Research and Technology, USA, inaugurated the cell in the presence of Mr. H.K. Mittal, Advisor, Ministry of Science & Technology; Dr. Pratyush Kumar, President, Boeing India; Prof. Devang Khakhar, Director, IIT Bombay, and other dignitaries from NCAIR partner industries.
