PILOT TO VIDEO GAME MAKER: USE OF PLANE'S IMAGE, TRADEMARK WONT FLY

A video game company cannot use exclusive images of a unique P-51 Mustang aircraft or the plane's name in a game without permission, according to a trademark suit filed in a Los Angeles federal court. Airplane racer Bill G. Destefani filed the suit November 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, claiming Ubisoft Entertainment's video game "The Crew II" illegally features his one-of-a-kind airplane, named "Strega."
