Legislative Trends in Noncompete Law

If the last two years are any indication, noncompete agreements will continue to see new limitations and restrictions coming out of state legislatures, and maybe even from Congress. Employers that rely on noncompete agreements to safeguard their business interests will need to closely monitor both the recent changes in noncompete law and those that may be in the works, especially for states in which the employer conducts business activities.
