NOTICE OF DEATH

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Brian Tyrie, who passed away on 10 December 2020. His children Leona and Steven had been there to support him during his battle with cancer, but finally he was not able to fight it any longer.Brian was a proud Fifer who made his presence felt, especially so as he was of smaller stature. He always had a significant moustache, which was immaculately groomed, and this led to the nickname 'Tash'. Brian strived to work in the most ethical manner and had little time for those who did not. His involvement in NDT started in the 1970s and he had worked both at home and internationally.For relaxation, Brian enjoyed his cars, motorcycles and watches and all were kept in the best of conditions. Most of all he loved his children Leona and Steven. The world is a poorer place with his passing.
