This paper proposes the presentation of a data fusion method based on the evidence theory of Dempster-Shafer, applicable to the evaluation of the area of delamination from carbon-epoxy composites due to impacts with energies between 0.5 J and 4 J. Two complementary methods for detection of delamination were used: determination of the change in propagation speed of Lamb waves generated by Hertzian contact and eddy current holography.rnThe obtained results were compared with the C-scan ultrasound method. While the area of delamination due to the impacts was overestimated by the ultrasound Lamb waves, it was underestimated by eddy current holography. However, the areas of delamination determined by data fusion were in good agreement with those obtained by the C-scan ultrasound method.
