GAO: Better communication could expand Army's wheeled industrial base

"When the Army chose not to pursue these capabilities, the companies then lost their investment and thus were less likely to be involved in future efforts."With clearer communication of requirements and needs, the Army could get more participants in the broader commercial truck market to participate in the tactical wheeled vehicle supply chain, the report found.
