1.Production of sustainable fuels from a broad range of non-food biomass feedstock reduces the competition of sustainable fuel production from food crops and also results in the decarbonization of the transport and industrial sector.2.The current main challenges for the production of sustainable fuels from non-food biomass is the high operational temperature and the subsequent increased energy consumption.3.It is therefore necessary to develop technologies, which operates under low temperature and is also less energy intensive.
