Paper Recycling in India

Pulp and Paper Industries play vital roles in Environmental Protection. After all, wood is one of the major sources for production of paper and wood comes from essentially forest and to some extent through agro-forestry. In the last three decades, use of recycled fibre by pulp and paper industry has substantially reduced the wood volume from forest. While the percentage of recycled fibre recovery in Europe, North America, Japan and few other countries is more than 50-60 but it is too low in India, hardly 20%.
