摘要

In this work, the microstructures and mechanical properties of cast composite materials based on AZ91 magnesium alloy reinforced with silicon carbide or titanium particles are considered. The sensibility of poly reinforcement of AZ91 alloy by these particles is discussed. It is assumed that introduction of a mixture of SiC and Ti powders in the melt will provide achievement of a higher level of mechanical properties owing to the difference in plasticity and interphase strength of various reinforcing materials and the matrix.
