摘要

The results of studies of the characteristics of a plastic scintillator having gadolinium 4-phenylb-utanate in its composition are presented. The thermal stability of gadolinium carboxylate and its complex with a neutral ligand is investigated to establish the optimal polymerization condition. The conditions for the preparation of the polystyrene-based scintillator containing gadolinium are elaborated.
