摘要

Upsetting tests of VTI-4 alloy samples at a temperature of 1010°C under high-rate loading have been carried out. On the basis of the test results, the elastic modulus, as well as the level of axial and radial plastic strain within the end zone and within the central zone at each stage of loading, has been determined. Criteria are proposed for the correspondence between finite element simulation and experimental data, and a model diagram is plotted for the deformation of the VTI-4 alloy at a temperature of 1010°C and a deformation rate of 2.5 s~(–1). As a result of the simulation, a relationship between the material structure obtained during high-rate upsetting and the stress-strain state within different zones has been determined.
