Oraua to acquire UK cheese business

Ornua, Ireland's largest exporter of Irish dairy products, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to acquire F.J. Need (Foods) Limited, the Cheshire-based cheese ingredients company. Established over 40 years ago, the family run cheese company includes a well-invested cheese cutting, grating and slicing facility, two cheese brands and a distribution fleet. The acquisition is central to Ornua's strategy of further strengthening its core businesses in Germany, North America and the UK. F.J. Need's strong competences will also strengthen Ornua's UK business's capabilities in the post Brexit environment.
