If microsoft can get win-dows Vista out the door in a timely manner, plenty of businesses are ready to begin deploying the operating system. But when it comes to Windows release dates, IT professionals have learned to be skeptical. Fewer than half believe Microsoft will release Vista as scheduled by the end of next month, according to a Web survey of 672 business technology professionals conducted last month by InformationWeek Research.
