Because I also work on Resource-Shelf and DocuTicker, I look at so many press releases every day that my patience has worn thin with the inept ones. I just hit the delete key and move on. Have any of you who use press releases for research, current awareness, or whatever reached the same level of annoyance? One of the first things you learn in a news writing course is "Don't bury your lead." The lead, of course, is the beginning of the story.
