The Media Networks division of the Walt Disney Co. recently announced that it will be opening an emerging media and advertising research laboratory in Austin, Texas, where it will test the effectiveness of various types of advertising, including interactivity, split screens, brand integration, sponsorships, broadband video, and mobile devices.
