Nature Publishing Group (NPG) announced that authors will be able to choose double-blind peer review for articles in Nature and the Nature research journals. According to a recent NPG survey, more than 75% of readers are in favor of making both authors and reviewers anonymous. Nature Geoscience and Nature Climate Change implemented this option in June 2013, and other journals, including NPG's flagship open access (0A) publication Nature Communications, will implement it later this year.
