Alliance (ala.org/acrl/diversityalliance) for academic libraries that are committed to hiring more qualified candidates from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. Participating libraries will create at least one resident position that will provide an opportunity for someone from these groups to gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for working in academic libraries.
