摘要

Schoolchildren know that Earth is actually one of the smallest planets in our solar system. Even though you could squeeze Earth inside Jupiter 11 times, this little planet is incredibly diverse, as are the people who call it home. There are innumerable cultures across the globe, and the global economy has brought them all into contact with each other. This has caused many difficulties, especially when exporting a service or product from one culture to another. Globalized E-Learning Cultural Challenges, edited by Dr. Andrea Edmundson, chief executive officer of eWorld Learning, USA, shows that e-leaming is not exempt from cultural difficulties. Factors such as how people communicate, their social roles, and how they perceive themselves in the universe, impact how education is handled.
