Design Web Site Assists Die Casting Product Designers

Look no further than the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) for die casting product design assistance. The association has launched a new Web site called NADCA Design to aid designers, engineers and other product specifiers. Video modules visually illustrate practical information for day-to- day development of die cast products, as well as more advanced topics to help designers determine whether die casting is appropriate for a product design. "Our goal is to increase dialog among designers and NADCA die casters, expand knowledge about optimized die casting product designs and help end users with conversions from other materials to die casting production," explains association president Daniel Twarog. Last year NADCA provided design and technical assistance to 30 OEMs across a range of industries.
