Although some small businesses are emerging in this sector, very few of them are involved in technological activities capable of achieving an industrial scale. For a long time, Photowatt has been leading the market and has even risen to number five worldwide. It is thriving thanks to niche markets (isolated sites, solar pumps) with public funding (national or international).
