As the person who "integrates" a collective action whose efficiency is, at first, immaterial, the practical man must nowadays conduct intellectual work undertaken by a group. Unlike his Taylorist forebear who, in an artificially material universe, recreated coherence with the immaterial world, the practical man finalizes — in a universe of immaterial, intangible work — a collective activity as a function of tangible objectives. This "fast manager" endlessly creates iterative loops between thought, reality and experimental actions.%Animateur, intégrateur d'une action collective dont l'efficacité est d'abord immatérielle, l'homme de terrain doit aujourd'hui conduire un travail intellectuel collectif. A l'inverse de son ancêtre taylorien qui, dans un univers rendu artificiellement matériel, recréait des liens de cohérence avec la dimension immatérielle. Il filialise, dans un univers de travail immatériel, l'activité collective en fonction d'objectifs tangibles : c'est un manager rapide qui, sans cesse, crée des boucles d'itérativité entre la pensée, la réalité et l'action expérimentale.
