Good things come in small packages, the saying goes, and one of the good things in a cozy duplex overlooking New York's Central Park is a set of fabric panels that screen out clutter and function as room dividers. The apartment's owner, Will Kohane, a partner in New York-based Apple Core Hotels, wanted to bring some order to his rather snug digs and to inject some stylish touches as well. In 1998 he enlisted Henry K. Stolzman, a partner in the Manhattan architectural firm of Pasanella + Klein Stolzman + Berg, to renovate his tiny, but charming apartment. The functional and stylish fabric screens were one of the new additions to the renovated modernist residence apartment.
