You hear it all the time: Creativity and innovation are the keys to entrepreneurial success, economic revitalization and a successful recovery from the recent recession. Maybe so, but it's not the way to get ahead, according to an assistant professor of organization behavior in Cornell's ILR (Industrial and Labor Relations) School. Jack Goncalo cites three studies that detail how people who voice creative ideas are viewed as having less leadership potential.
