For some years now, due to technical advances in single-crystal diamond synthesis, it has been possible to develop a wide range of monocrystalline diamond products to meet the exacting requirements of many different industries. P.R. de Heus details the properties of such products, which form the De Beers MONOCRYSTAL range, and discusses some of their practical applications.
